The Heavy Duty Caslon powered foil cutter can handle rolls up to 305 metres in length.

These rolls of foil are slipped over a steel shaft that is fitted with a soft aluminium cover (which prolongs the blade life).

A locking mechanism grips the inside of the roll core. A large circular blade, mounted on a handle, can be positioned along a support shaft and secured in position at the correct cutting point. Starting the electric motor, and simply lowering the blade handle, accurately and cleanly cuts through the foil and supporting core. 

If the blade dulls, it can be rotated to a new, sharp position.
